Rocket is a network of talented, energetic and like-minded individuals with a shared passion for travel. Wanderlust drives our desire to see more of the world and, more importantly, share it with others.

We've travelled extensively and are never happier than when we have our passports in hand.

MARK MEREDITH
FOUNDER

Prior to founding Rocket, Mark spent four years heading up Visit California's travel trade team in the UK & Ireland. During his tenure, he spearheaded the DMO's global luxury initiative in Europe, launched an all-new online training program, developed innovative strategic frameworks and delivered hugely popular trade engagement platforms. He was also proud to collect a number of awards on behalf of the Golden State, including a Travel Weekly Globe for 'Best Tourist Board' in 2018.

A former tour operator with over 20 years experience in senior product, commercial and marketing roles, Mark has conceptualised and delivered market-leading products, award-winning programs and standout events the world over. Mark founded Rocket in 2021 with a view to helping DMO's and other travel brands supercharge their profile and grow their business from the UK & Ireland.

After successful stints heading up communications for industry-leading brands including Visit California and Small Luxury Hotels of The World, Maddy set up NeoLux Consulting in 2020. Maddy now combines her significant experience in luxury and travel PR with sustainability 

qualifications, delivering game-changing comms plans and sustainability frameworks for SME's across travel, hospitality and lifestyle industries.

 

We are fortunate to have a strategic partner in Maddy, who not only knows and understands the UK & Irish media landscape, but is sensitive to the long-term challenges facing the travel industry of today.

FREELANCE COPYWRITER

Caroline is a copywriter and content writer who creates cliché free, take-me-there-now copy for inspirational travel businesses. Before that, Caroline spent six years working in the travel industry across several tour operators including Audley Travel and VIVID Travel. With experience in sales, marketing and operations, Caroline has a holistic understanding of the UK travel industry. 

 

Originally from Scotland, Caroline spent four years living, working, and travelling across Canada, the USA and New Zealand. Incurably infected with the travel bug years ago, Caroline loves to share her enthusiasm for world exploration through the written word. Currently based in the UK, Caroline always has one eye on the horizon!
